Redesign for a local restaurant.
Home Cafe + Marketplace is a favorite among those who are familiar with Bowling Green, Kentucky and is everyone's favorite "secret place". This restaurant is a cozy space that serves southern comfort food and explores flairs of nontraditional tastes. The previous menu was simplistic and minimally appealing. As I designed this new menu, I reflected on how the senses are engaged in the restaurant. Visually, I wanted to create something that would tie together the richness of the experience there but also the easiness of that experience. The colors textures used are to be read simply and draw the customer further into this treasured place.
